The borders of these sarees are decked up with some amazing criss-cross designs while the pallu is graced with jumbo sized paisley motifs.
Jangla: Jangla patterns are most commonly seen in sarees with bright silk threadwork. Intricate Jangla motifs grace across the length of the sarees and make them wed-worthy.

Cut work pattern: These patterns can be noticed in Jamdani sarees where the cut work technique is applied on a plain texture. The cut work patterns tend to look a lot more graceful when popular motifs such as marigold flowers, leaves, jasmine and creepers are used. The cut work patterns mainly look similar to the designs that are commonly found in the Jamdani and pure silk sarees.

Butidar: The sarees with Butidar patterns are special because they are beautifully brocaded with threads of original silk, silver and even gold. The benarasi weavers often refer to these patterns as Ganga- Jamuna. Other kinds of butti motifs that are weaved in Banaras are Patti Butti, Jhari Butti, Resham Butti, Jhoomar Butti, Baluchar Butti, Latiffa Butti and many others.
